We got a package today... and in it was...

An arriving-at-the-last-minute-Christmas-present!

I love all the projects in this book, including all the pictures and all the antique-looking things!

Books & Gloves

As promised, here is the picture of the crochet books I got for Christmas...

I took a break from the dress 'cause I've obcessed with making gloves!

And also found this! These are the 3D Glasses that I wore when Daddy & I went and saw VDT!

Anyway, last night, Momma and Daddy were talking on the phone about a trip....

WE ARE GOING TO D.C.!

I've been through D.C., but I've never accually been sightseeing! We're going to the Smithsonian Museums!!! EEK!!!

And I learned something from my Crochet Today! magazine...
There's a crochet coral reef exabit in the Natural History Museum! I showed the pictures to Momma & Daddy, and they're excited!!! Ekkk!

And we may just be doing it for my 13th B-day!! January 14! Yes, I'm 13! Ha ha! Besides the week we spent in Disney, this will probably be the BEST birthday!!! Yayy!!!!

Christmas Traditions

We have this little Christmas tradition...

We go to Nanster's and Papa's house on Christmas Eve.

 Nanster LOVED her blanket!

 I screamed when I unwrapped this. XD

And then we go home, but Daddy felt so bad that we didn't exchange out gifts to each other...

SO WE DID IT THIS MORNING!!!

 Momma: "OH! I love these gloves... where on earth did you find that peace sign, honey? Oh, and you even made me socks!"=-

*Later* Momma: "These socks are a bit big..."

Daddy: "Oh, don't worry, you'll grow into them."

Three of us: *Burst into laughter*

 Daddy: "A Zac Brown Band hat? Thanks, Cate!"

*Later* Papa: "You know, you remind me of someone in that hat...."

Me: "Zac Brown Band?"

Papa: "Yeah!"

 Daddy: "Thanks, I love it!"

And what I wanted for Christmas!

I also got the Jeporady Wii Game, Wheel of Fortune Wii game, a couple of crochet books(pictures next post), and fun with my family!

Nanster and Papa come over on Christmas morning and we all make breakfast. =P

On the local news channel, they have this Facebook question of the day. Yesterday, it was:

"2010 is almost over. If you could start the year again, what would you change?"

And I commented:

"I wouldn't change a single thing.... even when I made mistake, I wouldn't do it over to get it right. If I didn't make the mistake, how would I learn?"

 ......

 

And they read my comment on TV!!!!

I was very happy! Ha ha!
