Blue Ridge Parkway

A couple of weekends ago, we went to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I took tons of pictures, but my computer went wacko and placed one picture as another, but I finally fixed it! If you want to look at one picture more closely, just click on it!

We also went to AC Moore Friday, but I'll show you the stuff we bought later. Bye!

It's Gonna Be COOLDDDD Soon...

You know on that post from a couple of weeks ago? Yeah, well, Daddy's gonne be needing his blanket soon, 'cause it's already snowing a bit up north!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just wanna say a big, huge "Thanks!" to all those that serve and have served our country. I can't put it into words how grateful I am for their service and their love for their country to go and sacrifice their lives. Thank you, Veterans. You guys all mean the world.

MISS LORETTA LYNN!!!!!!!!!

What a line-up, huh? I love the speech that Brad Pasiley gave when he won Entertainer of the year. It's ture- country music fans are the most loyal in the music world!

I also loved Taylor Swift's preformance! I almost was cold when those snowflakes began to fall! LOL!

I mostly love Sugarland's performance! "Whoa, whoa, Stuck like glue, you and me baby we're stuck like glue" LOL! I love that song! I also loved that cool idea of their performance, where she's like a music-box ballerina, stuck(like glue)!

What was your favorite performance? Did you watch it??

My New Little Friend!

Please meet my newest little friend:

A cute crochet mouse!

I made him earlier! Ain't he cute?

I've decided to call him 'Brownie' since he reminds me of brownie mix!

Have a great night!

My New Blanket and Latest Project

Ya know that blanket I've been telling you about? Yeah, well, I finally got a picture of it!

What do you think so far? I like it!

I made this last night out of boredom.

Anyway, guess what?! There's a HUGE sale at AC Moore, and Momma's gonna take me this week so I can get some cheap wool! More news later, I guess!

Maybe some Speghetti Tacos for lunch?? ;)

The Holidays Come Earlier Every Year....

It's not like I'm complaining or anything. It's just the year that flies by. 2009 came by and went like a fast car. 2010 came and went like a snail on a rocket. Funny, huh? lol.

The Holiday Market came to the local city, so Momma, my aunt, and I piled into the van and headed for it! I'll show you what we bought later. Anyway, Momma has been in DIRE need of the Holiday spirit, so this worked! BY the way, I also bought Taylor Swift's Christmas album for $9! Awesome!

And I was watching TV with my mom, and a movie trailer came on. I screamed and yelled! IT was the first EVER VDT TV TRAILER!!!!!!!!! I hopped up and down and all around- but then I wished that I didn't. My head felt like a nest of hornets. I took some medicence and I'm better now, thanks.

Andddddd..... I've also been working on my latest blanket, which might take a looooooooong time to finish, since it's full of odd-color motifs, but I'll work on it from time-to-time.

And, no, I STILL can't find that darn pink yarn! I'm so mad! I really want to make that Santa head! Well, that's the latest adventures in Cate-Land. Wish ya were here! lol. =)

Hmmmmm.........

I was going to make this.....

But I can't find the yarn to do his face. And I bought that Baby Pink yarn just a couple of days ago. =(
