'Scarf of Many Colors'

As doubed by Daddy.

What's up?

I've been busy, defiantly busy.

I'm working like mad to get and understand Math so I can get done with 7th grade...

It's hoooooooot today!

I've also been working on this, it's something that I'll use when ti gets cold again...

Momma's favorite windchime fell and broke, and this is all that's left. =(

And Sugar has been sleeping more. She's getting older, defiantly.

I also get a day off this week! I'm seeing Soul Surfer with McMonster. I can't wait to see her, it's gonna be awesome!

Well, I should be getting back to Math so I can get it done. Yikes, I'm neck-deep in trigonometry.....

Well, I should post again soon. Maybe Saturday. See you then.

Cabling Done!

As a very happy girl, I say that my cabling project is DONEE!!!!

It's supposed to be a cowl... aw, well. I think it turned out great anyway. =D

Daddy keeps asking about his sweater... He says that he wants one with all the "cabling like that".

The guy who drew this goes by the screen name of 'Screenhog' and used to work for club penguin. He's a Christian and draws super awesome!

How's your Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday Tuesday been?

More With My Shawl

I got a nice start on my new shawl. =)

Perfect to do this weekend, while it rains.

Tink decided to come in this morning. It must be too cold for him. XD

Even today, I can't believe who I found on Twitter...

They added him for a book promotion, I think. Who cares? He's hilarious!

Waiting until June...

Until then, what are you crocheting now?

Happy March!

I tried to crochet last night, but I kept getting frustrated!

I'm trying to come up with a crochet pattern for a shawl from a book, but it's getting a bit crazy for me, so I put it down last night. Here's the color:

I got the idea from a book I read last week, Flyte. (Yes,  Septimus Heap).

"Jenna took the cloak, expecting to find a roungh horse blanket, and was amazed at what Simon had given her. It was the most beautiful cloak that she had ever seen- a rich, deep blue, finely woven from the softest wool [...], and lined in golden silk."

Do Nothing Day

This weekend, we all had a lazy day(s). Probably some of the best days of the month. I did nothing but talk to my bestie on the phone, type, watch movies, and crochet a bit!

I did steam my doilies...

Then I started another doily!

=)

How did your weekend go?

Fancy Doily Faze

I do seem to be going through a fancy doily faze...

I made this one the other day...

And I started this one while Watching Jeopardy! Watson Challenge.

LOL. I totally loved what Ken put under his answer:

"I, for one, welcome our nw computer overlords."

LOL. ^_^

Wednesday Crocheting...

He he he...

I remember when I was in Kindergarden, and when we were reading a story, we'd say, "Dot, dot, dot.."

XD

I have made some more progress with my blanket.
I just LOVE the colors!!!! When I'm done with this, I'm gonna work some more on that Autumn blanket for Momma. It's her favorite WIP of mine....

On Saturday, my Aunt and Uncle(Momma's brother) came over and went to Greensboro. They wanted to shop at Garden Ridge... so I got a new chair for my room!

I totally love it! We had to fix it, though, since it liked to slide around. It's so comfy, I nearly fell alseep in it!

And here is a very, very, mucho-important rule to shopping in groups:

STICK WITH THE PERSON WHO HOLDS THE KEYS TO THE CAR.

And I also got a book, too. ^_^

It's a book that latches onto one of my favorite series, Septimus Heap. I finished it in two hours. *^_^*

Everyone else is chilling out, including Sugar and the Emperor. Even if he is outside. ;-)

More Granny Squares

Some more granny squares for my newest blanket!

This is my Aunt's birthday gift. =)

Mine was, "Spice It Up!" (I now relize it sounds like Disney's newest show, "Shake It Up!")
But Momma came up with "Hot Moma!" He he. =)

Here's my desk in the office!

And the chair in the office. This is Daddy's chair. =) And on it, is my retro blanket!!!

And Tink got a little too excited with my yarn..... Poor, poor Governor. XD

I really love Sy-Fy. Like Micky's blog. She's posting a great story she wrote herself. Check it out when you wanna read something interesting or when you have a break from crocheting!

We've been watching the Science channel lately. Why? The most HILARIOUS show is on. It's called 'An Idiot Abroad', and me and Daddy LOVE it! It comes on at 10 PM on Saturday nights. You have to watch it. I just can't explain how HILARIOUS it is!

Well, off to crochet some more grannies! =)

I'm Back... With Explanations...

We moved my computer from my room to the office. No pictures yet, sorry.

And since Daddy is working on his truck lately, he hasn't hooked up my computer to the internet yet.

So, here we I are, on his computer.

At least I have some pictures!

Yes, I am starting another blanket. Granny Squares. Only, this time, smaller. XD

And I am joining a Home-school book club that starts sometime in April! The girl who takes music lessons before told me about it, and I told her that I'm in!

And speaking of books, I've been some...

My ALL-TIME, ALL-STAR favorite book. PERIOD!

I Am A Genius Of Unspeakable Evil And I Want To Be Your Class President may seem a bit.... wordy, but it's worth a shot! It's about the child genius, Oliver Watson, who tries numerous things to win his school's election. Hilarious. 100%. I read it three times.

I love this book.

Aza lives in the fictional land of Aorthiya, where both beauty and singing are prized. She only posses singing. When she is brought to the castle for the royal wedding, she is caught in a complex web of lies and tricks with her special talent of illusing. I read it twice.

And my final picture of this post...
Tinker.

Have a great week. =)

New, New, News...

Sorry that I haven't posted lately.

After I finished this blanket on Monday night, I got very intense pains in my shoulders, so no crocheting. =(

But yesterday, we got a letter in mail. It was a $10 coupon from AC Moore for our points on the card or whatever. IDK how it all works. But anyway....

Ever since I went through...
I have wanted to try hairpin lace, and I found the thing that I needed(other picture). It was only about $6, and mom got some other stuff and our total equaled up to $9.70. Basically, we got the stuff for free. XD

And another thing that happened yesterday.....

I got my hair cut!

I think that I kinda look like Claudia from Warehouse 13.

Minus the goggles and the colored streak, of course! XD
(I donated my hair to Locks of Love, BTW)

What happened to you this week?

The emperor says,
"Happy Weekend. And take lots and lots of naps."

Whoops....

Daddy should be working on my computer, but we haven't touched it, and something's gone wrong with the photo upload with my computer. XP

But, I'm on Daddy's computer so I can post!

Here's a scarf I made last week. I used some of my old Girl Scout Fun Patches and other patches that I've collected.

I've decided to make a hooded scarf, so here's the hood...

And this is a very bad picture of the scarf!

I made this crochet cover for a painted bottle I had in my room. We're re-decorating my room, so I made that. Next, the coke bottles! Ha ha! XD

It's been snowing like who knows what! It snowed last week, iced over, and then melted. This week, now, it's at the iced over stage. XD

And my BFF, McMonster is back on blogger! She is the girl of many nicknames... XD

Well, in other news...

MY BIRTHDAY IS FRIDAY!

It's just a subtle hint... he he lol XD

Enjoy the snow if you have any!

Miss Kitty.....

I was going through the pictures on my laptop, and I found old pictures of our old cat, Miss Kitty!

These were taken back in 2008 before she ran off...

Well, we went on vacation. Nanster and Papa let her out a lot, but she started freaking out and left.

When we first got her, it was in 2007. Some family friends parked their RV in our back yard and joined our business. We went on vacation in 2007, and Kathy called us and told us about a kitty that she had befriended. When we got home, they deiced to go and visit her mother-in-law, so for a week I called her 'Mis Kitty' after the 'Gunsmoke' character, and also.... she was just a kitty!

The last picture... I bet that you can't guess where she was sleeping...

Miss Kitty was sleeping on an ironing board, set up in the office, with an old blanket on it. Every single time that she jumped up there, we had to hold the ironing board so it wouldn't tip over! XD
