What I learned in school about earthquakes:
Curl up next to the wall and cover you head.
Pray that nothing falls on you.
Wait until your teacher tells to get up.
Go about your business.
Nothing prepared me for the earthquake today. I was sitting on the floor in my room, prepping my poster for the wall, when all of the sudden, the ground started to shake and Momma's china started clinking.
We freaked out.
She called Daddy, and after a few minutes, hung up, then turned on the TV.
(We watch CBS, BTW)
Scott Pelly came on and said that there's been an earthquake... it was classified as 5.9.
COOL!!!!!!
I honestly, never thought that there would be an earthquake here in NC. WOW.
So, after struggling to find CNN (It's NOT 205 or 202 on ours, it's 200. Figures.), I got on Facebook to see my friends' reactions.
I had three notifacations. Two on a "Happy Birthday" message I left a good friend, and a friend request. Jennifer Lawrence friended me!!!!!!
(Cue cricket noises)
She's an actress, mostly Indie movies. She's now currently filming the film adaption of my all-time favorite books, The Hunger Games, in Concord, NC, just less than an hour away from where I live! EEEEKKKK!!!!!

Fan shrieking aside, I organized my yarn stash yesterday. I sorted through lots of acrylic, and threw together what I couldn't/didn't want. I also wound up some yarn with my winder, and I have a blanket planned for after I finish my current blanket. =)
I have one picture of that hexagon blanket, and it's not very good, but here it is anyways:
I've been curling up with it, watching the BBC America channel, watching Top Gear, a new fave show.
