Still Alive, Still Crocheting

So I'm not a social butterfly. Big deal.

Not much has been going on, just reading, crocheting and school. I recently turned 14 on the 14th, and I'm just happy to live another year.

I'm still working on my New Year's project, it's currently going (not-so-)well, and taking it apart is nowhere on the horizon.

Okay... I'll all out of things to say. Here, enjoy a picture of Tinker.

Pictures? Yeah, Right.

We started school back(since we can't go outside AT ALL), and now we're doing this laid-back style that's been paid for by a heavy price- a lot of arguing and facepalms. We've got it figured out, and hopefully Momma (and me) can understand all this.

Like I told Daddy last night,

"They just teach me the same stuff over and over, only beefing it up each go-round."

And, to help me keep my sanity, I decided to find ways to help me focus. I crochet hats while I read. I listen to Orchestra music while doing Math, English, etc.

I finally got Daddy's sweater planned! I ordered some(just two) cable/Aran/Celetic knitting books off of Amazon so I could study the cable and try to convert them to crochet.

I have the yarn, the idea I want of shaping, yadda yadda yadda.

I just need to know how big Daddy would like it. Hmm... Looks like I'll either be measuring Daddy himself or one of his sweatshirts.

I hope to have some pictures of my hats later on.

Talk to you soon.

Put Down That Book!!

That's what Momma said to me earlier...

So, I've been going to the library for a couple(probably more) weeks in row now, and I decided to go on a book dare, reading the first book of series I've been knocking;

Twilight and Harry Potter

The first Twilight book was bareable, though I hated just how much Bella thought of Edward. DISGUSTING.

Harry Potter, though, was really, really interesting. So, I'm reading the whole series now. Turns out, in my library, where the HP books are in hardback ONLY, the books get bigger and bigger with each installment.

....

YESH!!!!!

So, no crocheting has happened, though I've tried a bit of knitting.

It's waaaay too hot to work outside any. 90 degrees and predicted thunderstorm everyday this week, too.

Buuuuuut......

I got my EOG's doneee!

In thirty minutes, I might add.

It would take me a whole week in regular school. I love Homeschooling!

Talk to y'all soon.

'Scarf of Many Colors'

As doubed by Daddy.

What's up?

I've been busy, defiantly busy.

I'm working like mad to get and understand Math so I can get done with 7th grade...

It's hoooooooot today!

I've also been working on this, it's something that I'll use when ti gets cold again...

Momma's favorite windchime fell and broke, and this is all that's left. =(

And Sugar has been sleeping more. She's getting older, defiantly.

I also get a day off this week! I'm seeing Soul Surfer with McMonster. I can't wait to see her, it's gonna be awesome!

Well, I should be getting back to Math so I can get it done. Yikes, I'm neck-deep in trigonometry.....

Well, I should post again soon. Maybe Saturday. See you then.

Adventures For The Day...

Momma insisted that we go and check out the newest exhibit at a museum in one of the towns near us.

I was a bit nervous(For no reason at ALL), but the car ride calmed me down...

Preddy Boulevard

When we got there, I swear...

EVERY KID IN THE STATE SCHOOL SYSTEM WAS ATTENDING THE SAME EXHIBIT, TOO.

So we walked around, killing time....

This thing killed the most time!

And I also found a cool diagram of a shark...

And we finally decided to bear the line of one million screaming kids to get inside the exhibit!

Day well done, huh?

I think so.

I'm Back... With Explanations...

We moved my computer from my room to the office. No pictures yet, sorry.

And since Daddy is working on his truck lately, he hasn't hooked up my computer to the internet yet.

So, here we I are, on his computer.

At least I have some pictures!

Yes, I am starting another blanket. Granny Squares. Only, this time, smaller. XD

And I am joining a Home-school book club that starts sometime in April! The girl who takes music lessons before told me about it, and I told her that I'm in!

And speaking of books, I've been some...

My ALL-TIME, ALL-STAR favorite book. PERIOD!

I Am A Genius Of Unspeakable Evil And I Want To Be Your Class President may seem a bit.... wordy, but it's worth a shot! It's about the child genius, Oliver Watson, who tries numerous things to win his school's election. Hilarious. 100%. I read it three times.

I love this book.

Aza lives in the fictional land of Aorthiya, where both beauty and singing are prized. She only posses singing. When she is brought to the castle for the royal wedding, she is caught in a complex web of lies and tricks with her special talent of illusing. I read it twice.

And my final picture of this post...
Tinker.

Have a great week. =)

Weird....

In language today, I was to write a sentence containing the verb "Teach". Before I knew it, I wrote:

"I tried to teach my friends how to crochet, but my attempts were in vain."

I wrote that before I even was thinking about the verb. Well, the statement's completely true. Only two girls took off. One is out of the hobby, and the other girl won't even talk to me....

Friends are confusing.

Woah! Slow Down and do a Recap!

Nothing much has happened lately, except for school, school, school, and more school!!!! But I've also found time to crochet! I've been working on my dad's blanket:

His blanket as of Monday.

Last Thursday, we took our dog to get her shaggy hair cut.
Before

Mom bought those little Long Johns for her, so now she can match dad with his! I personally think that Sugar looks better in them!

Dad's blanket as of Tuesday.

Tuesday's lunch. iCarly would be sooooo proud of me!

Last night while mom was cooking baked potatoes, we heard a sound like a toy was sliding across our dinning room floor. We raced to the kitchen, and the curvy thing that makes the heat had burst into and caught fire!

Dad's blanket as of five minutes ago!

It's a rainy day. =D

My Crochet Today! came in today! There are soooo many things that I want to make!!! I just wish that the editor wasn't leaving!!! ='(

Starting my BFF's gift
Starting the new stockings that I want to make

Sorry, Mr. Smith, but I'll might have to break some rules to get these done by November!

Shcool.....

You all know those "SCHOOL" warnings on the road to tell you about a school zone? Well, a local high school had it done again, and the people who did it misspelled school and spelled it "Shcool"! It even made national news! I can't find a video about it, so you can imagine it.

School has started..... not many posts, just a fair warning so you don't hate me.....

Summer!

Tests are almost over with, and my EOG came in last nite! Yay! Yesterday we took my dog to the groomer's.

Our little Miniature Great Perinese!

What the heck is this?! My dog looks like a rat dyed white!

Our cat, Tinker was misbehaving, so he was in the doghouse. Literily. The dog's house.

Would you like your 1 phone call, Mister?

And my desk was cramed yesterday.

The language pirate was staring at the SillyBand girl who was next to the notebook sea, wanting to get past the pirate to the fried apple pie that my grandpa made!
