Last night, I finished my headband!

I absolutely LOVE this button!

This morning, we checked my doilies, and they turned out wonderful!

And I also hund up some new posters in my room.

Anyone know how big of a Taylor Swift fan I am?

Do Nothing Day

This weekend, we all had a lazy day(s). Probably some of the best days of the month. I did nothing but talk to my bestie on the phone, type, watch movies, and crochet a bit!

I did steam my doilies...

Then I started another doily!

I think I'm sick...

My temperature was normal, but I feel kinds sick.. Ah, well.

I worked some more on my doily.

Pretty Pinwheel! Ha ha. XD

I also switched between crocheting a reading this evening.. I'm re-reading the Septimus Heap series. It's that good of a book series!

Mom likes the granny blanket, even if it is too narrow!

And I finished the doily!

Momma suggested that I start a 'Hope Chest'. I remember reading about that in a book, and I kinda like the idea, since Momma has too many doilies, anyway. (They're ones that she has collected over the years.)

I accually have found time to blog!!! =)

 We found a place for that shawl! Well, not its permanent  place, but it's a place! XD

We cleaned off my dresser! I didn't even know it had a wood top..... LOL. ^_^

We got my books and my crocheting books in order!

We have organized my huge yarn stash! It now spreads from my drawers, to under my bed, to now in my closet! XD And the granny square dress might just end up on the back shelf.... for now, anyway.

I still found time to crochet roughly 30 chain dasies,

My first ever Tunisnian Crochet project(that curls very badly!),

And to start a retro-colored blanket for my room!

And the pets?

Sugar is sleeping a lot more lately

And the Governor behaved very badly and got his little butt kicked out this morning.

http://www.ccrdc.org/campMy dad finally came up with an idea to get upstairs(The door was locked.)! He drove the forklift onto the concrete flat we have in front of the garage(The upstairs room is above the garage!) and mom raised him up and he crawled through the window! We got my suitcase and Now I'm packing! Then my mom got called out- and she's not even on call tonight!!! Well, now I have some time to update you on some stuff:

I have made six doilies! Two left!(Sorry, no picture! Mom has them in her car so I can't take a picture! =[ )


I plan this surprise for my grandparents! The two circles will be the natural & gold held together, and the edging will be in gold. I think that it will be pretty! Here's the motif I made in pink:

The blanket has passed the sleeping test! It's nice and warm enough for the summer, not the winter. ;)

Found it!!

I was going through my desk a little bit, looking for these itty bitty charms I had took off of tiny gel pens I have.... and I found the first doily!!! Yay!

Shiny stars! lol.

Mom went to Wal*Mart the other day and tried to get me some more of that shiny gold yarn. She only found 3 more balls of it, then got two "Natural/Gold" yarn.

Here is our naughty cat, Tinker. We once thought he was a girl, then we had him her it fixed. That's when we found out. 0_o

Sugar relaxes after a night of frayed nerves. It thundered and lightninged so much last night!

Blanket, Blanket, DOILY!!

Two blankets at once- and I get to do the doilies for my grandparents' 50th Anniversary! Yay! They need these certain size of doilies. I overheard my mom & grandma talking about it. I told them to hand onto that thought, and I walked to where I had made a large doily out of regular yarn. We talked about it, and I have to make ten of 'em before July 10th. Here's one I'm working on:

I may just take a night off from crocheting and focus on painting my nails. Seriously, I've only had 2 manicures in my entire life. And my friend has had over a billion. Why? I'm a tomboy compared to her! lol. (Srry BFF!)

About the night off..... oh gosh. My mom is watching Dr. G. It's an autopsy show and she tries to find out why a person died. It's kinda interesting. I'm a nurse's daughter! lol.
