Christmas Fiddling

I've finally made Momma's stocking!
This picture was taken in complete darkness. Does it look okay?

And I made Momma a new washcloth! When I gave it to her, she said "Yay!"

I'm starting Daddy's Christmas present tomorrow, so some sneakies(lol) will be coming your way soon!!!

Anyway, I wanted to share this with you:

Teacher: Okay, Cate, what have you learned about Nerdy?(One of my friends from my Wednesday nite class)
Me: She likes to crochet, she likes the Twilight series, and she'd never rode a goat.
Teacher: That's very unprivileged. Now, Nerdy, what have you learned about Cate?
Nerdy: She likes to crochet, duh! He favorite color is lime green, and she's rode on a goat before.

LOL, I hope that you enjoyed that! Okay, bother with all the explaining about my different friends and their nicknames, I'm gonna put a gadget thingy on the sidebar so if you forget one, you can look 'em up! Have a great Thursday! OR Wednesday!

Reportin' In!

I asked Momma what she might want for Christmas, and she said a new pair of slippers or socks, and not some cheap Wal*Mart cr@p slippers. B-I-N-G-O! I got it riiiight!

Now, because of it's oringalaity, I'm going to share with you what happened after I asked Daddy what he might want:
Daddy: A Sweater.
Me: How about something on the same level as a pair of bedroom slippers?
Daddy: A Scarf.
Me: Okay....
Daddy: Naw, a hat.
Me: Like another hat?
Daddy: Yep!

Isn't it so lol?

Stockings and Some Re-Discovered Pictures!!!!!

Okay, two stockings down.
(Second one is Daddy's!)

Momma's!

I found some more camp pictures! I know it's October, but what the heck??

The bunk above mine. Grandmother's work, not the girl's. =( Funny, though, I have a blanket those same colors! That girl's Grandma knows how to colorize!

This is a cabin. A real summer camp cabin. I stayed in one that looks like my church's Fellowship Hall. I go there enough, why make a replica???

Dear Trees, We love you. But, please, hug us and spare the splinters. Love, Us.

Not a good picture of the cabin I stayed in. I really hate Momma's camera. IT great as a portable camera, but the resolution stinks.

A very pretty picture of the lake from the Zip-Line Tower station!

Ego-Walk. Funny. Now, I find that this game has many morals in Daddy's lectures. Now I can bypass them. A little, anyway.

Yep, nature photography. MORE nature photography. Deal with it.

You better not be grumbling about this one since it's really, really, REALLY pretty!

This ugly door means more to me than you'll ever know. ;-)

What's that, Tiffany(girl in purple)? Lump in your throat? It feels like a frog? You just ribbited? Whatever. Let's go on with he show!

Bridge to Terabithia
Twice Upon a Marigold
Flyte
Queste
Physik
Flush
True Spirit(Currently Reading)
Ones that are crossed out are ones that I've read in the past..... errr... couple of days.

I hope that you enjoyed my ranting, go on with your lives now. XD

Christmas Stuff & More!!

I know, I know, it's been a while since I last posted. Nothing new, just made THIS:

Awesome, right? I am going to make two more for Momma, Daddy and Me! This one's mine!

This is daddy's. After I make enough, I'm going to use the red to put it together, and it'll be a Patriotic Christmas stocking!

I have alot of yarn for these three projects!

I also have my eye on another project to cap off my stash(It feels so cool to say that word! I haven't used this before, so you are experiencing an exciting first for me!).
I have this pattern because I got one of Crochet Today!'s special magazines! I would show you a picture, but I didn't take a picture of the cover and can't find it on google. I hope that you at least enjoy the picture of the blanket, though. :D

Drawings and Pictures!

Remember when I showed you some pictures that I drew? Well, after the post, I drew another one! Check it out:

I like it. =D

I started working on this last night, and I finally put it down at around 10:30 PM. What do ya think?

Lately, I've been asking for Duct Tape so I can make Jumping Bean and some other stop talking.
My mom, being the AWESOME person that she is, found this kind of Duct Tape at Wal*Mart! She brought it home and I hugged her! The tape is patterned like someone took the time to tie-dye it!!!!

I was sor bored, I started coloring my calculator, so now it looks really cool!

Tomorrow, I'm going to the Ashboro Craft Fair, which is completely awesome because they close up a bunch of streets and let people set up tents and tables to sell their crafts!!!! I really enjoy going to it. And all day today, they are shooting a Scott Towel commercial there! My state is so cool!!!!

It's Done!!!!

I finished daddy's blanket!

Woah! Slow Down and do a Recap!

Nothing much has happened lately, except for school, school, school, and more school!!!! But I've also found time to crochet! I've been working on my dad's blanket:

His blanket as of Monday.

Last Thursday, we took our dog to get her shaggy hair cut.
Before

Mom bought those little Long Johns for her, so now she can match dad with his! I personally think that Sugar looks better in them!

Dad's blanket as of Tuesday.

Tuesday's lunch. iCarly would be sooooo proud of me!

Last night while mom was cooking baked potatoes, we heard a sound like a toy was sliding across our dinning room floor. We raced to the kitchen, and the curvy thing that makes the heat had burst into and caught fire!

Dad's blanket as of five minutes ago!

It's a rainy day. =D

My Crochet Today! came in today! There are soooo many things that I want to make!!! I just wish that the editor wasn't leaving!!! ='(

September 20, 2010

Hello, how are you? I'm fine, thanks!

Enough with plesantries, on to something else!

On Sunday I wore my shawl.

Anyway, here's some Sunday news:

I went to church. Sunday school is where the action is. (Psssss- I'm gonna give the people nicknames!)
Last week, Jumping Bean(A hyper-active non-stop talking kid) would NOT stop talking. So, when I came into the class, I hugged my teacher, JJ(Her nickname. Remember that JJ is a girl!), and I headed for the dresser in our classroom. I went through drawer after drawer, not finding what I needed. Then, Yankee(Another friend.) asked me what I was looking for. Then I found it, and I showed it to him, and then to Jumping Bean. I told him that if he talked too much today, that I'd tape him to his chair. He looked at JJ and asked her why, and JJ responded with, "Well, Cate likes to hear my lessons. Last week, she couldn't because I constantly had to get onto you and Tinder(Jumping Bean's Sister)!" Jumping Bean laughed and said that she wasn't here. But when I waved the tape around, he shut his yap. Then, our teacher, Jewel(She's really nice and a very Godly woman.), walked into the classroom. JJ told Jewel that if anyone acted up, to contact security and get that kid or person to clean out the bus. I showed Jewel the tape and said, "Don't worry about him talking. I have his calling card." The entire lesson went awesome, and not a pep from Jumping Bean. The lesson was about, odd as it seems, about controlling your tongue. Funny, huh?

Now, about today.

At 1100 hours, my dad called and said that he was just then leaving the loading building in SC and was on his way home.
At 1330 hours, my grandparents comfirmed that they were in a different state.
At 1348 hours, my mom called and said that she'd be stuck at a nursing home for about a hour.

I'm home alone! I can do whatever I want! As long as I do what they expect of me, that is. But don't worry- I want to do what they expect of me. I get respect when I do. I really mature that way.

Congrats, you put up with me for a quarter of an hour! Go and congratulate yourself with some chips and a Diet Pepsi!

Crochet! I have finsih #1 of my mom's socks!

Momma's sock!

Again!

Special yarn for a special gift!

So.... What's up with you?

Me? Oh, nothing much. I've been bored lately, so I did free make-overs on my Stardoll character!

This is my new profile picture!

The whole outfit! I love this! I look like I'm from the 1940s!

I like this wild/natural look.

It's an outfit I created from a store in the StarPlaza.

This, overfall, is my favorite outfit styling from that store. It's called Mortal Kiss and it's inspired from the story Stardoll is updating everyday!

I really love this outfit! Besides the makeup, the outfit is entirely Non-Super Star!

Early 1930s yellow! And Diamonds!

I know, the shoes don't match- but I couldn't find any yellow shoes that are the same color as the dress!

I hope that you enjoyed my boredom. I sure did. ;-)

Trends are fleeting; Style is forever.

(IDK who said that!)

Keep Crocheting!
